Tenderness in the vastness（2021） Starting from Beijing, driving through the Hexi Corridor to the northwest, drivers are shocked by the changing landscapes coming into view, which raises my deep thinking. Over thousands of years, mankind has been keeping developing new landscapes in this land to attach their belief and resist the fear brought by nature. Trudging through the long journey, one could arrive at those destinations that have existed in the world since ancient times and stand in the vast and mighty land to gaze at those hints left by tiny lives in a certain way and appreciate a touch of tenderness in the desolated northwest China.
